Main idea: We encounter God on his terms for his glory and for our good.
- God doesn’t accept all worship (v. 1a).
- God transcends all things (v. 1b).
- God is holy (v. 2-3).
- God’s word has power (v. 4a).
- God is mysterious (v. 4b).
- We respond to God with humility (v. 5).
- We need God to reconcile us to God (vv. 6-7).
- God invites us to join his mission (v. 8).
