About

Chandler Warren joyfully serves as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Alcoa in East Tennessee (fbalcoa.org). He has a passion for preaching, pastoral ministry, and theological studies.

As a child in southeastern Oklahoma, Chandler wanted to be a pastor when he grew-up. In his teenage years, he avoided that calling but surrendered to it during his senior year of high school. He attended Oklahoma Baptist University where he earned a BA in 2019 and was licensed to gospel ministry by First Baptist Church of McLoud, OK.

After graduating, he planned to spend a year in St. Andrews, Scotland earning his MLitt in Theology. Although he did earn his MLitt, his time living there was cut short. In March 2020, he and his wife had to return to the U.S. as the COVID-19 pandemic spread in full force.

Chandler served as a Student Pastor in Oklahoma from June 2020 to January 2022. He then moved to Alcoa, TN to serve as the Pastor to Students + Families at First Baptist Alcoa. After eleven months, Chandler began to fill the pulpit, and in July 2023, he became the Senior Pastor and was ordained to gospel ministry by First Baptist Alcoa.

He has continued his academic interests by pursuing a PhD in Theology at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He focuses his research on Christology, Trinitarian Theology, Ecclesiology, and Preaching/Homiletics. He also likes to read, discuss, and write about Apologetics, Baptist Theology, and Protestant Catholicity.

Chandler and his wife Molly have two beautiful children. Chandler enjoys coffee dates with his wife, reading, writing, and playing and walking with his kids.

He enjoys speaking at all kinds of events from academic conferences to Sunday morning worship services. If you would like to contact Chandler about teaching or preaching at your next event, please use the contact form below.
