Sermon outline:
- God’s people rejoice in the Lord (vv. 1-4a).
- If our flesh could earn us a spiritual profit, Paul would have been abundantly rich (vv. 4b-6).
- Like Paul, we are left spiritually bankrupt when we trust our flesh (vv. 7-8).
- We are spiritually wealthy when we gain Christ (vv. 7-8).
- When we receive Christ through faith, we also receive other spiritual rewards (vv. 9-11).
